Throughout my time at NC State, I made it a priority to stay involved in campus life and connect with communities that reflected my interests and values. I served as the Treasurer of the Agricultural Communicators Program, a student organization designed to introduce undergraduates to career opportunities in agricultural communication through bi-weekly meetings with industry professionals. I was also a teaching assistant for ENT 201: Insects and People, an introductory entomology course designed to engage students from all majors with the fascinating world of insects and their impact on human life. As a member of the Entomology Club, I enjoy connecting with fellow insect enthusiasts and participating in outreach events and hands-on workshops. Outside of academics, I was actively involved in a Christian sorority, where I served as Recruitment Chair, Retreat Chair, and Service Chair over the years — roles that gave me the chance to build community, plan events, and lead service projects.
