I’m passionate about finding clear, creative ways to communicate scientific information and help connect research to real-world solutions. As a Communication Intern with the Southern Integrated Pest Management Center, I assist in synthesizing research information and authoring scientific stories focused on integrated pest management (IPM) topics relevant to stakeholders across the Southern region.
I collaborate with researchers to highlight projects and initiatives that promote economically, environmentally, and socially responsible pest management practices. Through this role, I also develop infographics and promotional materials that support the Center’s outreach to IPM professionals, extension specialists, and agricultural researchers throughout the southern region.
